Poppi is a comedically trained from Chicago Second City Training Center. One of the most versatile comics in the country, her stand-up resume is extensive:

Winner, America’s Funniest Real Woman on The Joan Rivers Show; featured on Entertainment Tonight, Showtime, LOGO, Comics Unleashed, Comedy Central, VH-1, HBO and Oprah.

Poppy has opened for such comics as Ray Romano, Denis Leary, Bill Maher, Bill Hicks and Rosie O’Donnell. 

Poppy can be seen at comedy clubs across the country in her "Queer Queens of Comedy" show.
